THE BLOOM OF YESTERDAY
Film
In the midst of his deepest life crisis, the Holocaust researcher Toto comes across the French assistant Zazie, of Jewish origin and with a pronounced Teutonic phobia...
"Pretty nasty, a bit loopy and very entertaining: these are the most outstanding attributes of a really only almost romantic comedy about two sociopaths who feud with each other in the finest way. Adèle Haenel and Lars Eidinger play the two chief neurotics Zazie and Totila, whose personal misfortune lies in their family history." (Programmkino)
"A fresh, cheeky and joyful masterpiece" (Inforadio)
"Crazy. Sophisticated. Ingenious" (FBW "Besonders Wertvoll")
"Great cinema entertainment, supreme amusement and at the same time serious examination." (Kino-Zeit)
